Ja Rule is kicking 2021 off by addressing rumors and setting the facts straight! Roommates, if yall remember, back in 2018, 50 Cent claimed that he purchased 200 front row tickets to his concert in Arlington, TX. The tickets were advertised via Groupon for $15, and 50 claimed he paid $3,000 to make sure the show was empty. 50 shared a post on his Instagram account claiming to be at the show, with the caption, “What a show. I mean just fu***ng, great. Do it again. My kid went to the restroom. LOL #bellator #lecheminduroi”
Well, that incident appears to be false according to Rule. In a recent interview, Rule told Hip Hop DX that it was all Cap. He said, “It’s cap, yo! Cap! Such cap! How my ni**a Bobby Shmurda did it? He’s capping. King of cap, ni**a. I tell ni**as, I say, ‘Yo, I got 10 stacks right now for anybody that can find footage of this foolery that this ni**a is talking about.’ Listen, we live in a world of fu***ng. Everything is on video. Come on, man. Stop with the foolery, man!”
Rule continued denying the claims in the interview, saying it “never happened.” He even pointed out that even if 50 were telling the truth and bought several seats to the show, he would come out victorious in the end because he would be receiving the profit.
He said with a smirk, “Even the thought of it is still stupid, because ni**a all you did if you did that, was put money in my pocket. And what you think the promoter is going to do? Have an empty venue? You let ni**a in free or charge them again! It’s the dumbest s**t ever, yo. But yeah, it’s cap. Never happened.”
Hopefully, 50 Cent and Ja Rule can end their long standing beef this year.
