It looks like another collectible item is heading Black Sabbath fans’ way later this year.

Funko just unveiled a new Pop! vinyl figure inspired by one of their most iconic album covers.

Earlier this year, Black Sabbath celebrated the 50th anniversary of both Black Sabbath and Paranoid. As part of the celebration, the band launched a new collaboration with Dr. Martens on Oct. 1. The collection features two new pairs of boots inspired by each of the album’s legendary artwork.

Now, Black Sabbath are taking the celebration one step further with the help of Funko. The collectibles company is launching a new Pop! vinyl figure inspired by Black Sabbath’s debut self-titled album. Released in 1970, the groundbreaking record features some iconic artwork that fans are very familiar with.

The album’s ominous cover features a mysterious woman dressed in black while standing in front of the Mapledurham Watermill in England. We later learned that the mysterious woman is actually model Louisa Livingstone who was 18 or 19 years old at the time of the shoot.

Now, Livingstone has been transformed into a new Pop! vinyl figure inspired by the classic album artwork. The new collectible will be available on Dec. 26 and Amazon pre-orders for the item have already sold out.

Along with this, Sharon Osbourne has offered an update on when Ozzy will return to the stage. She told Planet Rock Radio this week that his canceled tour is being rescheduled for 2022. In the meantime, The Prince of Darkness is currently in the studio recording a new album.

“Ozzy’s tour has been rebooked,” Sharon says. “The British tour, he’ll be back in 2022. You know, we just carry on as normal. We’ve been doing loads of TV shows here and you’ve got to just keep going until Ozzy can go back live. He’s in the studio right now doing a new album. We’re going to do a movie of Ozzy’s life story and he’s got to do the soundtrack to that… so I’ll keep him busy, let’s put it that way.”

Ozzy previously told Radio.com that a follow up to Ordinary Man is in the works. He is working with Andrew Watt again to produce the record.

“I’m doing another record right now,” he said. “I just started to work with Andrew again. It’s what gets me up in the morning, and it’s what I’m here to do. It saved my life, doing that last album. [It’s better than] sitting on my ass all day waiting for the fucking pandemic to be over. And then you go, ‘Oh, yeah, I am a rock and roller. I’d better do an album.’ You’ve got all the fucking time in the world to make the best album possible.”

As well, you shouldn’t expect a Black Sabbath reunion to happen anytime soon. Ozzy revealed last month that the band is “not for me, it’s done.” He also said he feels guilty about Bill Ward, the original drummer, not being there for the band’s final live show.

“I felt really bad about that,” he says. “It would have been so nice. I don’t know what the circumstances behind it were, but it would have been nice. I’ve talked to him a few times, but I don’t have any of the slightest interest in [doing another gig].”
